About Me

Hello everyone!  Welcome to my blog! I’ve always wanted to start one of these, but I never had the drive or commitment. I never really knew what to focus on, even though I have been a voracious reader for most of my life. Now I’ve finally taken that step and here you are. 

I’m no english major or wordsmith, so please don’t expect an essay for each review. If I liked a book, I’ll try and convince you to read it in as few words as possible. If I didn’t like a book, I’ll try and explain why, but I totally understand the whole “different strokes for different folks” concept, and I won’t judge you if you liked it.

I’m a very emotional reader. If I can’t get sucked into a book, into the characters’ lives, I tend to not really like a book. I guess that’s why I’m not much of a classics fan… the language might be great, but they tend to be impersonal. I liken it to being told a story, and actually living a story. The first case is all good and well, but chances are I’m not going to enjoy it as much as the latter.

There’ll be a couple of movie reviews thrown in here and there, but mainly I like to read, so that’s what you’ll get. Hope you enjoy my 2c worth!
